There’s been some surprisingly low fares lately from London to Dubai, either direct with: Emirates, Star Alliance either with Lufthansa with a stop in Germany or Swiss Air with a stop in Switzerland.
As a starting point before buying any ticket, google flights is where you should always be looking first. as it provides you with a clear image of the cheapest to the most expensive dates, and the more flexibility you have the more savings you can make.
London to Dubai in business class for as low as £1485pp.

Emirates “Special Fare”
What is an Emirates special fare or “H Fare”?
Well not too long ago Emirates airlines came out with a lower end business class product whereby you buy a business class ticket still get the same seat and the same food in flight however there are a whole lot of things that don’t come with it, for example no lounge access, reduced mileage earnings, no chauffeur service (unless you pay for that separately) which as you can see comes with a lot less benefits, but still gets you a seat on the throne..

What credit card is the best to use when buying a ticket?
Since Emirates isn’t part of any alliance I would say using a card where you try to put through the maximum amount of spend maybe in order to trigger a bonus would be the ideal thing to do.
Whilst the majority of the world is closed to the UK, Dubai’s still open and an awesome place to visit if you’re looking for a bit of sunshine.
