How to earn the sign-up bonus.
To receive the bonus of 40,000 Skywards miles, you must spend $3,000 within the initial 90 days of opening your card account, and may take up to 8 weeks for the bonus points to arrive into your account.
Who can qualify for this card?
You must meet specific requirements to obtain this card in the UAE, as with most cards in the region.
- You’ll need your original Emirates ID and a copy of your passport.
- Latest salary certificate for salaried individuals.
- Trade license for non-individuals.
- Latest 3-month original bank statements (or mini ATM statements).

Earning rate.
For everyday spending, you will receive 1 mile per dollar spent.
For booking travel, you will earn 2 miles per dollar spent.
You will receive 3 miles per dollar spent for booking travel direct with Emirates.
Would this card be a good fit for my daily spending needs?
This card is suitable for everyday expenses if you carry a few cards. However, if you don’t travel frequently, it may be worth exploring other options, as other cards can provide better rewards and ultimately give you more value for your money for your daily expenses.
Is this card suitable for booking travel?
If you find yourself flying a lot with Emirates, this card is most definitely one of the best cards to have in your wallet as the earning rate with Emirates is excellent; however, even if you were to book travel, this card is still great as you would still be earning double points on those transactions.
Things to note.
To maintain Gold tier status after the first year, you will need to spend $40,000 on net purchases each year, beginning on the anniversary of your card. For those currently gold members, your tier status will be prolonged for one year from your card account’s opening date.
