Annual fee.
This card is free! There is no annual charge on this card.
The representative APR on purchases is 29.9% variable.
What’s the earning rate on the Barclaycard Avios Card?
The earning rate for the Barclaycard Avios card is 1 Avios for every £ spent.
Barclaycard Avios key benefit.
When I choose which card to keep in my wallet, I always consider its benefits. To get the British Airways cabin upgrade voucher, you need to spend £20,000 on this card within 12 months. In contrast, the paid version of this card only requires £10,000 per year to trigger the voucher.
Barclaycard Avios other things to note.
You can upgrade to the paid version of this card at any given time—it’s that simple. However, your account needs to be up to date when doing so. The same works in reverse, too, where you can downgrade from the paid to free versions.
Conclusion.
To conclude this review of the Barclaycard Avios card, this card is brilliant if you’re after a credit card where you don’t want to spend a monthly or even yearly fee. You’re getting 1p per £ spent on the card, and that’s an excellent return. Throw in an upgrade voucher with British Airways once a year, and that tops it for sure.
