In mid-September 2023, Norse Atlantic Airways debuted with the London Gatwick to Miami service. However, the Miami chapter draws a close as every grand adventure evolves. The airline will bid adieu to this route at the end of Summer 2025, with the final flights scheduled for 25 October 2025.

A Fresh Route on the Horizon

While Miami is getting a nostalgic send-off, Norse Atlantic is busy charting a new course to the vibrant city of Bangkok, Thailand. Starting on 26 October 2025, travellers will soon enjoy a direct connection from London Gatwick to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport—a move that promises to add an exciting twist to your travel plans.

Flight Itinerary for the Bangkok Service

Here’s the rundown for the new route:

  • Outbound Flight (Z0791):
    • Departs from London Gatwick at 16:00
    • Arrives at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi at 10:25 the following day
    • Operates every Tuesday and Sunday
  • Return Flight (Z0792):
    • Leaves Bangkok Suvarnabhumi at 12:30
    • Touches down at London Gatwick at 18:30
    • Runs every Monday and Wednesday

These services will be operated on their Boeing 789 Dreamliner, ensuring a modern and comfortable journey.

A Personal Reflection

I had the opportunity to fly with Norse Atlantic in premium economy on their early London Gatwick to Oslo route. The cabin was perfectly adequate for a short hop, though I found it a bit plain for a longer journey. Of course, that might just be my cup of tea.

Mark Your Diaries

Keep your calendars handy: starting from 30 November 2025, the frequency of the Bangkok route will increase to four flights per week, giving you even more chances to take advantage of this new connection.

A Competitive Edge

Interestingly, British Airways already serves the London Gatwick to Bangkok route five times a week with its Boeing 777-200. Norse Atlantic’s entry will undoubtedly stir up friendly competition, offering travellers more options and potentially exciting fare deals.

Whether you’re waving goodbye to Miami or gearing up for a new Thai adventure, Norse Atlantic Airways is clearly reconfiguring its strategy. Stay tuned for more updates as the airline reshapes its transatlantic and international networks.
