Oman Air is getting Heathrow-happy. Starting winter 2025/26, they’ll bump up their Muscat–London route to 11 weekly flights, and by summer 2026, it’s back to a full-fat 14x weekly schedule. No more choosing between awkward layovers or the single daily squeeze – you’ll have more flexibility, better connections, and extra chances to try that dreamy Dreamliner.
Speaking of which, the extra flights are being operated by Oman Air’s gorgeous B787-9, complete with three cabins – Business Studio, Business Class, and Economy. Whether you’re in front of the bus or chilling in 35A, you’ll get that signature Omani service (and probably a killer biryani, too).
The new schedule looks like this:
- NEW Flight: Departs Muscat at 01:40, lands at LHR 05:55 (aka just in time to watch the fog roll over the Thames).
- Return leg: Leaves LHR at 08:25 and touches down in Muscat at 19:35.

That’s alongside the current daily line-up:
- WY102: Heathrow to Muscat, 08:50 → 07:00 next day
- WY101: Muscat to Heathrow, 14:15 → 19:10
The new Oman Air to London Heathrow additions run on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at first before going full double-daily by summer. Weekends in Muscat? Yes, please.
But here’s the cherry on the Omani halwa: this ramp-up coincides perfectly with Oman Air joining Oneworld on 30 June 2025. Yup, soon you’ll be able to earn and burn Avios, enjoy reciprocal status perks, and lounge-hop across continents – all while sipping Qahwa at 35,000 feet.
More flights. Better timings. And a shiny new alliance badge. Oman Air’s making moves, and we’re here for it.
