Traveling around but want to stay connected? Try Saily!

There are four different levels within the program.

Blue, Silver, Gold & Platinum.

In this post, I will look at all those tiers and see what value they each offer.

But before we jump into that, let’s first get the basics out of the way,

What is a tier, and how do they work?

Unlike skywards miles, tiers can only be earned when flying on Emirates or Fly Dubai. These are called qualifying flights. Tiers cannot be reached if flying partner airlines, as seen with other programs such as Oneworld.

Blue.

Planning your trip.

The first level is blue, which you will automatically become once you sign up using the link.

Blue members can book Emirates rewards with skywards miles online, including flights & upgrades, and access to special offers and travel packages tailored for you. Earn miles on Emirates and redeem them with partners. You can also nominate someone to put them in charge of your account so they can handle all of your bookings; your personal preference will be remembered in the system for future bookings, and you’d get wait list priority.

At the airport. You’d be able to buy instant upgrades using your miles.

On board. You can buy instant upgrades using your miles and have free WiFi when travelling in first class.

At your destination. You will have special member offers available to you depending on your tier.

Silver.

Silver members will get all of that plus complimentary seat selection, excess baggage allowance, and bonus skywards miles when flying Emirates,

Priority check-in and boarding, complimentary lounge access, your world rewards (silver members can earn one skyward mile per $1 spent at Marriott Bonvoy properties on all eligible stays at participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels and resorts worldwide, Bonus miles when travelling on Emirates, that’s 30% for silver members. Check-in at business class counters, an additional checked bags allowance

Gold.

Gold members get everything above, plus Bonus miles when travelling on Emirates, that’s 75%, Priority service through our contact service, Guaranteed seats even on fully booked flights, priority baggage delivery, and complimentary lounge access.

Platinum.

Platinum members get everything as the above plus additional benefits, which include last seat classic flex plus reward tickets, gold partner nomination, and no expiry of skywards miles.

Conclusion.

To move up tiers, you need to fly on either Emirates or Fly-Dubai, as you’d be able to use those perks on either of these airlines.
