Premier Inn is refurbishing its hotels with a new concept called ‘The Evolution Style Rooms,’ so let’s explore this new concept and see what changes.
- A stylish, softer and fresher interior décor with calming neutral and dove grey colour palettes
- New rooms will also feature fabric headboards in the brand’s signature purple.
- Floor-to-ceiling curtains to ensure complete blackout when sleeping.
- Double shower heads,
- Soft purple night lighting in bathrooms,
- Flexi table will replace the current static desk.
The new room design has been divided into three zones:
- The getting ready area with vanity mirrors, plug sockets, and hair dryers
- The sleeping area with the bed
- The hive area for work, relaxation, and charging devices
Premier Inn also stated that they have used design tactics to “open up rooms,” such as “floating, open furniture to create a more spacious feel by allowing you to see the floor underneath.” The company mentioned that this approach would also help to minimise the chances of guests leaving items behind.
Premier Inn stated that increased social content creation prompted them to incorporate more ‘Instagrammable’ features, such as neon signs in reception and dining areas, stylish headboards, and softer lighting.
Premier Inn has announced that the new design will be implemented in 11,000 rooms across 100 hotels by February 2025. Please refer to the bottom of this article for a list of locations where the updated rooms are currently available. It is important to note that the group stated, “exact features can vary by hotel.”
