The Louis Vuitton airport shop is supplemented by its duplex at Changi Airport. LV has also opened a new shop and a café in London Heathrow Terminal 2, located near Gate A17. Both the shop and Le Café Cyril Lignac will be open to the public on a walk-in basis from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
The new store joins three existing outlets in London Heathrow, Terminal 3, Terminal 4, and Terminal 5.
The eponymous café is the first Louis Vuitton café to open in the UK.
French chef Cyril Lignac is renowned for fusion restaurants, patisseries, and chocolate boutiques.
In London Heathrow, his new café, in collaboration with Louis Vuitton, will offer an all-day menu, including a delectable array of croissants, freshly baked pastries, and fruit plates for early travellers. The café will also feature lighter options like a refreshing crab salad and an assortment of elevated snacks, making it the perfect stop for travellers seeking indulgence and nourishment before their journey.
Hot dishes are Croque Monsieur, lobster rolls, beetroot salad with goat’s cheese, and Caesar salad. For dessert, branded Louis Vuitton patisseries and mango Eton Mess.
The shop will mainly sell items from Louis Vuitton’s womenswear collection, with a smaller selection of men’s accessories and leather goods available. The café and shop are connected and stand under a curved, aerodynamic façade designed in collaboration with architect Marc Fornes, with whom LV has worked before.
Inside the structure, accents of orange and gold tones and colourful Quetzal Mobiles (hanging models of South American birds) by Atelier Oï create a warm environment separate from the airport’s bustle.
