Amex Travel Offers You’ll Actually Want (Autumn 2025)
American Express is sprinkling statement-credit magic across some seriously swish hotels (and a few handy car-hire deals). Add the offers to your card before you book, and you can bag cash back that feels almost criminally generous. In this article, I’m running through every travel-related deal currently showing on my Amex card—remember, what you see may vary by cardholder.
The first step is finding the offers.
Open the Amex app, tap Offers, and hit Add to Card on the ones you like. Once you pay with that card, the credit lands on your statement usually by the next billing cycle as automatic cashback.
One small note: once an offer is added, you can’t remove it, so be sure you actually plan to use it.

How to Max It Out
- Add offers first. Tap “Add to Card” in the Amex app before you book, or you’ll miss the credit.
- Book direct. For “in-store” hotel offers, you need to pay the hotel directly (not via an OTA).
- Stack rewards. Use a cashback or Avios-earning portal for an extra layer of free money.
