Traveling around but want to stay connected? Try Saily!
I wanted to review the Bahrain airport hotel for a while now but I never really got the chance, so during my brief two-day stay in Bahrain, on my way to India, I took the opportunity to explore the Bahrain Airport Hotel and share my experience.

Location:
After landing, finding the hotel is a breeze. Simply take the escalator back up to departures. Do not go through immigration since you’re staying in the airport. Inform the police or security that you’re a guest at the Bahrain Airport Hotel, and they’ll guide you through without any hassle.
Depending on your arrival point, you may need to walk a bit. However, the Bahrain Airport Hotel is conveniently situated opposite gates 15a & 15b, right next to the transfer information desk. This proximity makes it incredibly easy to navigate, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the airport layout.
Bags:
What happens to your check-in luggage?
Since you’re not leaving the airport, your bags will arrive on the conveyor belt just like they should; however, do not panic; your bags won’t get lost; instead, don’t worry about it now. Just make sure you have everything you need before the flight, and when you’re done with the hotel stay, go through the immigration and go into the lost & found, which is right by the escalator. You can pick up your bag from there with the receipt you got when you departed; in my case, I didn’t even need that either.
Hotel:
Guests that have Priority Pass can book a room for free for up to 3 hours.
Bedroom:
The hotel has 2 kinds of rooms, pods and small cubical rooms; however, being that it’s a tiny space, I found that it had everything I needed for the night, the only major downside to the room was that the shower and the toilet were right next to each other. Hence, you basically take a shower in the toilet, I’m still determining where the people who sleep in the pods do their business, but I’m guessing there must be some communal toilets, which I must’ve missed.
There is also a spa located in the lobby, which was closed, which is a huge shame as I wanted to review that, too, but maybe next time.
Conclusion:
For a short stopover in Bahrain airport, it is definitely worth it. Although I would say that it might be slightly on the pricey side for what you are getting, nonetheless, it’s in a very convenient location.
