Another day, another airport. Emirates is rolling out its swanky Premium Economy product to yet another UK airport, this time, London Stansted (STN). And what’s the lucky aircraft getting this upgrade? The Boeing 777-300ER.

The Emirates Stansted Flights

There is no official date or flight number just yet, but here’s what we do know: Emirates already operates a double-daily service to STN with the trusty 777-300ER.

  • EK65: Departs Dubai at 08:20 and lands at STN at 12:55.
  • EK66: Leaves STN at 14:55 and touches down in Dubai at 01:00 the next day.
  • EK67: Takes off from Dubai at 14:15, arriving at STN at 18:45.
  • EK68: Departs STN at 21:10, landing in Dubai at 07:10 the following day.

If Emirates decides to slot Premium Economy into one of these rotations, it’ll join the existing lineup of UK airports featuring upgraded cabins: Heathrow (LHR) and Edinburgh (EDI). That’s right, Stansted is officially moving up in the world.

The Aircraft & Cabin Upgrades

The Emirates Boeing 777-300ER operating to STN isn’t just any old workhorse. It’s part of the airline’s refreshed fleet, showcasing:

  • A four-class layout (First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy)
  • That shiny new Premium Economy cabin that’s been rolling out across Europe, including Brussels (BRU), Geneva (GVA), Zurich (ZRH), Vienna, and Athens (ATH)
  • An enhanced Business Class with a 1-2-1 configuration, meaning window-seat lovers and privacy-seekers rejoice, no more awkwardly clambering over a stranger to get to the aisle
  • First Class passengers might just get the ultimate flex: the Gamechanger suites, aka fully enclosed, floor-to-ceiling luxury pods that scream ‘I’m better than you’ (because, well, they are)
  • A cabin design refreshed with wood finishes, Ghaf tree motifs, and a modern colour palette because why not make flying feel a bit more like a luxury hotel?

Final Thoughts

There is no exact start date yet, but when Emirates launches Premium Economy on the Stansted route, it’ll be another solid win for UK travellers looking for that sweet spot between Business Class and a bog-standard Economy seat.
