Traveling around but want to stay connected? Try Saily!
Not so long ago, I wrote an article about the possibility of seeing American Airlines resuming flights to Israel. While there’s no news on that front, I wanted to share a different update with you today: United Airlines will resume flying to Israel again. Let’s go over the details below.
United will resume service on March 15, 2025, using a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner. The last time United flew to Israel was on July 31, 2024, so this means an almost eight-month absence from flying to Israel.
United had this to say about the resumption to Israel: “This resumption follows a detailed assessment of operational considerations for the region and close work with the unions who represent our flight attendants and pilots.”
Below are the new flight details for the United flight:
- UA84 Newark EWR to Tel Aviv TLV departing 3:55PM arriving 8:20 AM (+1 day)
- UA85 Tel Aviv TLV to Newark EWR departing 10:30AM arriving 4:35PM
Then, as of March 29, 2025, United plans to resume a second daily flight also with a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner between the two airports, with the added frequency having the following schedule:
- UA90 Newark EWR to Tel Aviv TLV departing 10:45PM arriving 4:20PM (+1 day)
- UA91 Tel Aviv TLV to Newark EWR departing 11:25PM arriving 4:15AM (+1 day)
According to GCMapper, this route clocks up 5692 miles and is blocked for 10 hours and 30 minutes on the outbound and 11 hours and 50 minutes on the inbound.
