You rarely fly out of Heathrow Terminal 3 with British Airways in first class, as only a handful of BA flights fly out from that terminal and even fewer offer first class. However, since I flew to Bahrain, one of those routes departing from Terminal 3, I decided to visit the Heathrow first-class dining lounge. Within that, there’s a small section of the room dedicated to first-class flyers—a Concorde lounge 2.0, if you will.

Location:
The first-class dining room is a hidden gem within the first-class lounge, located in the F lounge. Upon arrival, you can enter the business class lounge, reserved for business class travellers and silver members, or turn left and step into the first-class lounge, where the dining room awaits in a dedicated area within the first lounge.
First-class flyers or those with gold status with Oneworld can also use this lounge.
Food & Beverages:

The food served in the first-class dining room is à la carte.

The menu is below.

The food itself was excellent, and I was really impressed with the level of tastiness and the quick service. They also have a vast selection of drinks, champagne, and other beverages.

Seating:
As this is a small place cornered away from most people using the lounge, the space is lovely and quiet, with huge windows looking out, a great place to do some planespotting. You get a great view of runway 27L / 09R.

Conclusion:

At first, I was very sceptical about this lounge experience, as it is no secret that the BA lounges are not the best in the world. But when I’m wrong, I’m wrong; this exceeded all my expectations. The lounge, however, was round about what I thought it would be.
