Talk about a good lounge, let me tell you something. Yesterday, I enjoyed experiencing the Pearl Lounge business class lounge in Bahrain. It was a breath of fresh air, with its expansive space and a plethora of dining and relaxation options. Now, let’s delve into the unique aspects of this lounge.
The lounge is enormous, and it’s made up of roughly 10 huge rooms.
Okay, okay. I might not know all the names of each room, but that’s simply because of its size. It was hard to keep track, but I promise I’ll still try to bring the picture to life.

Location:
The lounge is located near the airport hotel you can read the full review here, just before gate 15. You’ll need to take the escalator or lift up one floor to reach it.
Entrance:
As you enter the lounge, you’ll be greeted with a massive piano, which just looks cool. I can’t imagine someone walking up and starting to play, but wouldn’t that be something?
You’ll find the concierge on the left-hand side.
Lounges:
The best way to describe this place is its lounges within lounges, meaning there are about four to five different types of rooms, from quiet ones to ones with more people, each designed differently and serving a different purpose. These include the main dining room area, the buffet lounge, the pastries lounge, the Italian restaurant, the French-inspired lounge, and so on.
Food:
Given the variety of foods available, one is likely not to stay hungry from here. The food was above average, and I say that because I like to be honest. It was good, but nothing earth-shattering.
Bar/library:
When it comes to the drinks, you had a bar where you could get yourself a nice drink, which they also call the library. Unfortunately for you, there were way too many people in there for me to take some nice pictures.
Coffee station:
Yes, you read that right. There’s an entire station just for coffee, with a barista who will serve you the perfect cup.
Pizza station:
Did someone say pizza? Yep, you heard me. I know, right? Who would’ve thought? But I’ll give them credit for the creativity, though.
Games area:
Here, you’ll find a pool table and a foosball table. I once told a friend that I’d rather miss a flight than a game of pool, or snooker if you’re from the US.
Smoking lounge:
I am a smoker, so having this option is always a plus. The ventilation in this place was excellent, miles better than other lounges, and I didn’t feel like I would choke in here; if you’re a smoker, you’ll understand.
Showers:
I visited the showers here. Below are some pictures, although I didn’t get to use them, so I can’t comment more.
Conclusion:
Okay, so to sum it all up, this: This Lounge has a 5-star Skytrax rating, and rightly so; it fully deserves it. I was really impressed with the amount of detail that went into the Pearl lounge Bahrain. It reminded me of celebrity cruises, which, if you’ve ever been on one, you’ll know what I mean.
